Your role:

• To organise credit management and accounts payable for the local division
• To prepare a monthly financial report for the parent company in Germany and to be involved in the annual financial statements for the local entities
• To be the first point of contact for local service providers such as Auditors, Tax authorities and HR service providers
• To work as part of the central corporate tax organisation and be responsible for compliance with national tax requirements and required tax reporting
• Responsible for human resources, including recruitment, training & development, payroll and time management of local staff in close coordination with the central HR department

Your qualifications:

• The successful candidate will have completed relevant training in financial accounting, taxation and human resources (e.g. Bachelor of Economics; Tax Specialist; Financial Accountant, etc.)
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in an internationally operating corporate group or a tax consultancy
• Sound knowledge of federal and state labor legislation (e.g. payroll, 401k, working time)
• The ability to work independently and demonstrably achieve first-class results
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
